The Seahorse Inn, Tobago 3 star
Set on an elevated position at Stone Haven Bay on the Caribbean side of Tobago. Almost hidden
amongst tropical terraced gardens and just across a small beach lane from the golden sands of palm
fringed Grafton Beach. Six miles from the Capital Scarborough and 15 minutes drive from the airport,
with taxis and local transport readily available.
The Seahorse Inn is known as one of Tobago's premier beach-side restaurants, with stunning views over the Caribbean Sea and perfect sunsets.
A small and intimate place with just 4 very comfortable and stylish rooms adjacent to the restaurant with balconies and ocean views. All rooms are individually decorated and have air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, a fridge, coffee/tea maker and cable TV. Prices include Continental Breakfast for two.
There is a small bar and the restaurant is open for a light lunch service and evening dining is an la carte restaurant service. The dining area is elvated on two floors and has magnificent views of the Caribbean sea.
No swimming pool but the calm Caribbean Sea at Grafton Beach is only a few steps away. Ideal locations for swimming, snorkelling and the perfect place to relax in the evening. The beach is an excellent palce to spot the turtles which nest In Tobago each year. This is an ideal location from which to explore Tobago and not stay in a resort environment. There is easy parking on the small beach lane close by, hiring a car is the best way to get around and taxis can be easily arranged.
The main feature at Seahorse Inn is the restaurant which has one of the best reputations on the island and the bar is a popular local meeting place. The pretty courtyard is an ideal place for drinks and al fresco dining, whilst the panelled covered dining room is perfect for a romantic evening meal, when the whole place comes alive with beautiful lighting.
