refers to a promotion or special offer where a child or children stay or additionally eat at the resort free of charge when sharing a room with parents (other conditions and restrictions may apply). The cost of each child flight and each child resort transfer still have to be paid and are not free. This also applies to infants under 2 years.
The resorts terms and conditions apply and restrictions apply at each hotel, such as child ages, family room occupancy, stay dates, early booking offers, or number of children. Discounts for children will not apply at peak times, such as Christmas, New Year (18 Dec - 05 Jan) and in some hotels the offers won't apply at Easter.

How to find cheap Caribbean family deals
There has never been a better time to book a tropical family escape to somewhere exotic like the Caribbean. With a warm climate, sandy beaches, great swimming pools and tasty food that the children will love, the Caribbean offers lots of family fun, all year round. Here's a small selection of customer's favorites, offering the best family value. We know our Caribbean family holidays are great value, because our family deals offer you all the discounts. Typically family deals to any of the resorts, give best value if book a few months in advance of your travel dates, giving more choice and availability. So start looking early and decide what kind of Caribbean holiday and which island you'd like to visit also have in mind your family holiday budget. Choose a few hotels and resorts as possibilities. Caribbean all-inclusive holidays offer good value for families because parents don't need to worry about their spending money, so you can relax knowing that everything's included at the resort. You won't even need to pack a beach towel and the children will be happy to play in the pool, beach or with friends in the kids clubs.
Many family hotels have child ages from 2 years up to and inclusive of 16 years, which provides great discounted deals for families with young children and older teenagers. Most family resorts provide activities or kids clubs as complimentary normally for children aged from 3 years to 12 years, but ages do vary in each hotel. In many resorts with child clubs the a minimum age is usually 3 or 4 years and children are required to be potty trained to be able to join in (otherwise parents have to remain with them). The Turtle Beach Hotel in Barbados and the family friendly Smugglers Cove with it's waterslide pool in St Lucia offer excellent value too. Antigua's popular Jolly Beach Resort is on a lovely beach with great kids clubs and teen clubs. The Verandah Resort Antigua, the St James Club Antigua provide child care for toddlers from 2 years as long as they are potty trained (otherwise parents have to remain with them). The St James Club Morgan Bay St Lucia offers child care from children 4 to 11 years old. The Grenadian by rex, The St Lucian by rex and the Turtle Beach by rex in Tobago are great value for families and kids club for 4 - 12 year old. Teenager clubs are available in few resorts, but with so many offering waterports and beach activities most teens usually like to entertain themselves. If you have infants or toddlers or older teens, that require childcare, or any special requirements for your children of any age, please inform us before booking so we can assist you, as hotels can change their child care facilities at any time without prior notice. Family all inclusive hotels will normally operate kids clubs daily, some operate with two sessions a day but some resorts will operate clubs on a seasonal basis, or only during school holiday times, so please check before booking. Sometimes on holiday you're required to book your session in advance (sessions with a mimimum / maximum number of participants). Baby-sitting can be arranged in some resorts (local charge - average approx $USD12 - $USD20 per hour).
Families often need to travel during peak periods such as the School Summer breaks at Easter, Summer in July and August and half term in February and October and we strongly recommend you book a few months in advance if you want the best value. To travel at peak times it's best to book earlier rather than later if you are fixed on your travel dates. Typically it is not always easy to get a last minute deal to your ideal destination at when every family wants to travel, although you may be lucky if you can be a little flexible on your dates. Many travellers tend to require the same return flights, when work, school or other commitments are the same for everyone.
